S P Q R, triumphal quadriga, its panels ornamented, moving slowly left, containing aquila and surmounted by four miniature galloping horses (RIC 112; Calicó 282 (this coin); Biaggi 137 (this coin); Bahrfeldt 157; BMC -, see 395 note*; C 276).A few minor marks on edge, very fine. Very few known examples of this extremely rare variety.
