GLORIA REI PVBLICAE, Roma, facing and holding a spear, and Constantinopolis, turned to left, holding a sceptre and resting her right foot on a prow, enthroned, holding between them a shield inscribed VO/TIS/V, a palm below, KONS and AV monogram in exergue (RIC 235; C 25; Depeyrot 6/2).Lustrous, extremely fine.A splendid example of this very rare issue.
