Offered in this lot is a Chihli Monetary Bureau and Provincial bank 50 Coppers issued in Tientsin in 1921. A very scarce type, this is the single finest example of just 5 pieces of this Pick number in the PMG population report, and the only uncirculated graded example. This was the highest denomination of the series and a very challenging issuer. Seldom offered and an important opportunity for the Chinese specialist.
