Judaica / Zionism - a pair of medals on the subject of Hasidism - Ukraine / Poland

The story of the ancient beit midrash of Mezboz ‚in which the Baal Shem Tov established his seat‚ and this is how it is known to this day: the ancient beit midrash of the Baal Shem Tov
In Rabbi Yisrael, about three hundred years before the arrival of the Holy Baal Shem Tov in Mazibuz, members of the community built a synagogue made of wood and stone. In time, the community grew and the synagogue became too small, the members of the community built a new, large and beautiful beit midrash, and the old synagogue was abandoned.
Mejdzybóż (Ukrainian: Меджибіж (Medjibiz): Polish: Międzybóż (Yiddish: מעזביז'ז) is a town (formerly Shtetl) in the Letichev sub-district of Khmelnytsky Oblast. In the old administrative division (until 1918) is located from Zhibož in historic Poland, in northern Podolia, near the southern border of Wahlin, between the southern Bog river and the Bozuk river. In the history of the people of Israel, the city of Zhibuzh is known mainly for being the homeland of the Hasidic movement and the seat of the founder of Hasidism, the Baal Shem Tov. Nino, Rabbi Nachman of Breslav, was also born in the city.
