PTOLEMAIC KINGS of EGYPT. Kleopatra III & Ptolemy IX Soter II (Lathyros). 117/6-108/7 BC. AR Didrachm (20mm, 6.91 g, 12h). Uncertain mint in Cyprus. Diademed and draped bust right of Ptolemy V as Dionysos, thyrsos over shoulder / Eagle, wings open, standing left on thunderbolt. Svoronos 1799; Olivier 2621–2 (obv. die D43); cf. SNG Copenhagen 637–8. Find patina, scrapes and scratches, edge chip. VF.
