Amlwch, Parys Mines Co., uniface trial of the halfpenny obverse die [1788] but on a very small flan, cowled druid's head - no wreath, rev, blank, edge plain, 23.5mm/7.28gm. (DH 269 Bis), very small flan
with three nicks in edge which appear to be contemporary with manufacture, otherwise good Extremely Fine, handsomely toned – with remnants of original lustre in field around the head, excessively rare.
