Ex. F S Cokayne Col. acquired Baldwin c.1946, his ticket - bought Apr. 1907 'from the Collection of a Private Gentleman residing
in the South of England' via Glendinings, lot 203, for 45/-.
A note in the 1907 Glen's cat. reads' This is the original piece from which Mr. Atkins took his description is very
fine and is most probably unique'. Some ten years later it was recorded and photographed by Messrs. Dalton &
Hamer and it is the plate coin to their Magnus Opus.
