KINGS of PERSIS. Ardaxsir (Artaxerxes) I (3rd century BC). AR drachm (3.63 gm; 19 mm). Head right, with moustache, wearing diadem and kyrbasia / Fire temple of Ahura-Mazda; to inner left, Ardaxšīr standing right; standard to right. K&M 2/7; Alram 523; Sunrise 563. Couple of minor hairline cracks on reverse (not going across), otherwise well struck. Choice aEF. Rare.
