A sensational rarity from the 1960 series. This is the highest denomination of the series, and is key for any serious collector of Curacao paper money. We have not offered this type in our lengthy auction history, and it is sure to be well received when it crosses the auction block. This series was only in circulation for two years, from 1960 to 1962, and was pulled before the Netherlands Antilles currency was released. For reference, although this note is not graded by PMG, their population report lists just two examples encapsulated by their service.
