Ilkhanate, a pair of silver dirhems, circa 694-703 AH (1295-1304), Mahmud Ghazan ruled Ilkhanate after the death of Gykhatu, and is not only famous for converting to Islam and introducing a unified bi-metallic currency including Ghazani dinars, but also having the Mongol princess Kököchin sent by Kublai Khan (and escorted by Marco Polo) of Yuan Dynasty as one of his principal wives.
