Stater, 11.00g Obv: Bearded sea-god (Triton), half man and half fish, standing right, holding transverse trident with speared fish at end in right hand, holding dolphin by tail in left. Rx: Eight-pointed star within shallow incuse square. Le Rider pl. VIII, 14 (same dies). Svoronos 7 (same obv. die as no. 4 - pl. XVIII, 24). Dewing 2037. One of the most desirable types of the coinage of Crete, with an impressive pedigree. Extremely rare. About EF/EF
