Visible from the overstrike: [NEPTV]NO CONS AVG Hippocamp swimming right, long fork-like fin emerging behind front legs. Surviving from the undertype: ONS AVG, with the head and forelegs of the hippocamp; in size and arrangement clearly different from the same details in the overtype, so struck from a different die. Mint error involving the type Göbl 743b (96 spec.), Cunetio 1392 (146 spec.), RIC 245, Cohen 667 (3 Fr.). EF
