Iran ND (1932 / AH1311) P-21as PMG Choice About UNC 58 EPQ 50 Rials (Specimen - Uncut Pair)
While we have offered quite a few banknotes from Iran in our auctions the present offering of uncut specimen pairs from the American Banknote Company is something we have never offered in the past. This is the 50 Rials from the first series of the Bank Melli Iran, which is extremely rare in issued format anywhere close to this grade. Specimens are a bit more available, but they are still quite scarce and popular. This pair is seen with strong embossing, bright colors and exceptional eye-appeal. A red control number from the archives is seen between the notes.
