The 1960 "prooflike" Crown was struck with polished dies as part of the British Exhibition in New York. The Royal Mint had a stand, part of which was a demonstration of these coins being struck.

Design by Mary Gillick. / Cruciform floral emblems with central crown, shields of constituent parts of the United Kingdom in angles; artists' initials 'EF' and 'CT' and divided date below.
