Carnelian seal. Neo–Babylonian, 626–539 BC. Bullet–shaped seal with piercing and modern gold loop. On face: bearded priest of Marduk faces left with hands raised in supplication before altar with spade of Marduk and two styli of Nabu. Maximum diameter of face: 14mm. Rost 301. Chip at hole, otherwise in good condition.
