(S/M#Y13). Dual punch cancellations. Printed by BWC. Hankow. A neat color trial, which is very different from the final design. The primary color is a dark purple color, whereas the final specimen was in blue ink. The underprint is consisted of watermelon pink & green colors (the final specimen was in green & yellow). The reverse design is printed in a blinding orange ink, with green, yellow and brown ink comprising the border design. No examples are currently listed on PMG's population report. Scarce, and worthy of a premium bid. PMG comments "Restoration."
