A large group of various Chinese private issue notes from late Ching Dynasty to Republic Era. Denominations includes Cents, Chuan, Dollar, Fen and Tiao. Condition ranges from Fine to About Uncirculated. The notes were issued for the use of following the provinces: Fukien, Hunan, Hupeh, Honan, Kiangsi, Kwangtung, Shansi, Shantung and Szechuan. Most of the notes are issued by private banks with some of them issued by local cooperatives and businesses such as grocery store, grain store and oil mill. Several notes are issued by Finance Bureau. Issues are found on some of the notes such as tears, splits, staining, spindle holes, pinholes, holes and toning. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS.
