An assortment of various Chinese private issue notes from late Ching Dynasty to Republic Era. Denominations includes Cents, Chuan, Dollar, Fen and Tiao. Condition ranges from Fine to About Uncirculated. The notes were issued for the use of following the provinces: Heilongjiang, Hunan, Hupeh, Honan, Hopei, Kirin, Kiangsi, Kweichow, Shansi, Shantung and Szechuan. One of the note is a contemporary re-print with buffalo horn plate. Most of the notes are issued by private banks with some of them issued by local businesses such as brick factory, book shop and oil mill. Several notes are issued by Finance Bureau. Issues are found on some of the notes such as tears, splits, staining, spindle holes, pinholes, holes and toning. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS.
