L&M-521; K-385; KM-Y-183; WS-0395. Variety with hooked "kuang". One of the more elusive of provincial Dollars, with this being our first offering of this L&M number since our October 2020 Hong Kong Auction. Avoiding fault or major detraction, this specimen yields a serene and gentle luster that piques the eye. The well applied strike, a somewhat evasive attribute on Kirin coinage, nets commendable details in both the devices and legends. Only scattered contact is noted, keeping this piece an entirely presentable beauty.
