(t) CHINA. Ming Dynasty. Cash, ND (ca. 1567-72). Emperor Mu Zong (Long Qing). Graded 82 by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-20.138; FD-1969; S-1183. Weight: 4.2 gms. "Long Qian Tong Bao". This decently preserved example displays attractive brassy patina with richer coloration in the obverse fields adding a bit of contrast. Close inspection of the reverse reveals evidence of light tasteful smoothing from long ago, now toned and matching the rest of the coin. This wholesome example is pleasing to the eye and is quite handsome for the type that is sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
