CHINA. Qing Dynasty. Fujian. 20 Cash, ND (ca. 1853-55). Fuzhou Mint. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). VERY FINE.
Hartill-22.781; FD-2517. Weight: 36.25 gms. Variety with one dot Tong. Obverse: "Xian Feng Tong Bao"; Reverse: "Er Shi". This handsome and moderately worn survivor displays a pleasing brown patina with minor earthen deposits in the protected areas. The surfaces are relatively smooth with areas of the naturally rough surface texture amongst the devices. Wholly original looking and pleasing to the eye, this presentable example would make a nice addition for the beginner to intermediate collector.
