(t) CHINA. Qing Dynasty. Fujian. 20 Cash, ND (ca. 1853-55). Fuzhou Mint. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). Graded 82 by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-22.798; FD-2519. Weight: 36.4 gms. Obverse: "Xian Feng Tong Bao"; Reverse: "Er Shi". This nicely preserved and attractive example displays rich brown patina with minor earthen deposits amongst the devices. The naturally rough surface texture in the fields is mostly intact with remnants of the finishing process on the high points. This pleasing survivor offers a nice appearance and is sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
