(t) CHINA. Qing Dynasty. Jiangsu. 100 Cash, ND (ca. 1854-55). Suzhou or other local Mints. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). Graded 80 by Zhong Qian Ping Ji Grading Company.
Hartill-22.913. Weight: 59.8 gms. Variety with small Bao. Obverse: "Xian Feng Yuan Bao"; Reverse: "Dang Bai". This charming and wholesome looking example displays rich patina with area of lighter coloration on the rims. Much of the naturally rough surface texture is present, but does show signs of wear. Minor earthen deposits and verdigris amongst the devices and fields adds to its pleasing appearance. This handsome survivor is sure to be a welcome addition to the next collection it enters.
