CHINA. Qing Dynasty. Sichuan. 100 Cash, ND (ca. 1854-55). Chengdu Mint. Emperor Wen Zong (Xian Feng). VERY FINE.
Hartill-22.981; FD-2532. Weight: 54.62 gms. Obverse: "Xian Feng Yuan Bao"; Reverse: "Dang Bai". This decently preserved and moderately worn survivor displays rich brassy patina with areas of brighter coloration on the high points. Minor earthen deposits amongst the devices add to the pleasing appearance of this somewhat crude issue. Wholesome with a good look, this charming example would make a nice addition for the intermediate collector looking to expand their numismatic holdings.
