Obverse: "Jia guan jin lu" at top (promotion and raise) with a monkey on the lower portion, sycee at upper left, below deer nibbling on the leaves of the felicitous herb of immortality; Reverse: The Lunar animals with their corresponding characters around. This handsome and preserved survivor displays rich mottled brassy patina with minor earthen deposits amongst the devices. Pleasing to the eye this piece offers much originality and charm that is sure to be a welcome addition to many collections.
