Weight: 99.9 gms. Obverse: Celestial Master Zhang at right, two small figures running left, three character inscription within cartouche above; Reverse: Twelve characters around central hole with corresponding lunar animals near edge, Greek style border between. The nicely preserved large format issue displays mottled rich brassy patina with minor earthen deposits amongst the devices. The exposed fields do show signs of handling, but do retain some of the naturally rough surface texture in the protected areas. This wholly original looking survivor offers a pleasing appearance that is sure to catch the attention of collectors of this series.
