Obverse: Bare head left; Reverse: Veduta featuring the railway bridge over the Rhone and out of the city of Lyon; in exergue, three civic coats-of-arms for Paris, Lyon, and Marseille. Edge: [hand] ARGENT. Fairly bold, impressive, and RARE, this enticingly silver issue has added appeal in that it is one of the earlier pieces to pertain to the railroad industry. Quite deeply toned, with some charming luster emanating from the fields.
