MIXED LOTS. Annam, Japan & Korea. Mixed Cast and Struck Minors (Approximately 600 Pieces), ca. 17th to 20th Century. Grades VERY GOOD to UNCIRCULATED.
This vast and varied gathering primarily consists of cast issues from Annam and Japan, but does include some Korean issues, covering several centuries. Most are attributed with some duplication and does include several better types. All have varying degrees of tone from a thin veneer to rich mottled patina, some are quite attractive. Most of the cast issues doe have encrustation or earthen deposits. Some have been cleaned, environmental damage, corrosion and/or may have other defects. Close personal inspection is advised and will reward the diligent bidder. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. Approximate retail value in excess of $1,000-. A nice group of mixed material that would make a for an excellent study group for the beginner to intermediate collector looking to further their understanding and appreciation of East Asian numismatics.
