MIXED LOTS. Mixed Date and Mint Portrait Crowns and Minors (78 Pieces), 1751-1822. Grades VERY GOOD to CHOICE EXTREMELY FINE Details.
The vast and varied gathering primarily consists of Spanish Colonial Portrait coinage, but does include a couple of pillar minors, later Republican minors and Spanish mainland minors, all silver. Mints contained are Cadiz, Guatemala City, Lima, Madrid, Mexico City, Nueva Guatemala, Santiago, Seville, San Luis Potosi and Zacatecas. All display varying degrees of tone from a thin veneer to thick dark patination, some are attractive. Most have been cleaned, scratched, holed, environmental damage and/or may have other defects. Close personal inspection is advised and will reward the diligent bidder. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. Approximate retail value in excess of $1,500-.
