CHINA. Mixed Date Silver 20 Cents (56 Pieces), ND (ca. 1914-29). Grades VERY FINE to UNCIRCULATED.
Approximate weight: 275 gms. This interesting gathering primarily consists of 20 Cents from Kwangtung with much date duplication, but also includes a few issues from Fukien, Kwangsi and Republic general issues. Pieces of note are a Yuan Shih-kai 20 Cents(1), Yuan Shih-kai 10 Cents (2), Kwangtung and Fukien cut 1/2 20 Cents (3) and contemporary counterfeit 20 Cents (2). All exhibit varying degree of wear from moderate circulation to mild handling. All display varying degrees of tone from a thin veneer to rich mottled gray patina, some are attractive. Some have been cleaned, scratched, environmental damage and/or may have other defects. Close personal inspection is advised and will reward the diligent bidder. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS.
