CHINA. Provincial, Imperial and Republican. Mixed Date and Denomination Struck Copper Issues (253 Pieces), ND (ca. Late-19th Century to Early-20th Century). Grades FINE to EXTREMELY FINE.
This vast and varied gathering of struck copper issues primarily consists Imperial, Provincial and Republican era 10 Cash, but also includes a nice little selection of 20 Cash and 50 Cash as well as a few other copper issues. Many different types and provinces are present such as Chekiang, Fengtien, Fukien, Honan, Hunan, Hupeh, Kiangnan, Kiangsi, Kiangsoo, Kwangtung, Pei Yang and Shantung with much duplication in the 10 Cash. Some have been cleaned, environmental damage, residue and/or may have other defects. Close personal inspection is advised and will reward the diligent bidder. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. Approximate retail value in excess of $3500-. An interesting gathering with a few better types for the student looking to further expand their knowledge and appreciation for the series.
