CHINA. Tibet. Study Group of Tangkas (65 Pieces), ND (ca. 1840's to 1920's). Grades VERY FINE to CHOICE EXTREMELY FINE.
This interesting gathering consists of many different dates and varieties, including some that are SCARCE. All are toned to one degree or another, some are quite attractive. Most are attributed which includes all of the pertinent information such as date, mint and Rhodes classification as well as earlier provenance. Several are from the Nicholas Rhodes collection which are noted on the tickets. Some have been cleaned, environmental damage, verdigris and/or may have other defects. Close personal inspection is advised and will reward the diligent bidder. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. Approximate retail value in excess of $2,500. A great study group for the student of the series looking to expand their numismatic holdings as well as their appreciation and understanding of these issues.
