Grand Cross Set with Diamonds. Sash Badge, 60x55 mm, in GOLD, 98 g. and red enamel, centre medallion with separately-made image of the saint, enriched with polychrome enamel work and fine engravings, reverse medallion with enameled eagle and motto "ALTIORA PETO", suspension ring and original, sash ribbon with golden safety hook. Breast Star, 79 mm,in GOLD, similar to the order`s badge, centre medallion with separately made and applied image of the saint, resting on beams set with brilliants, the whole within a diamond set ring, white enameled outer circlet with golden inscription, mirror-polished reverse with chiseled, vertical, broad pin (struck with "18k" mark) and two side-hooks. A lavishly made set of this order, almost unique in this quality, surely awarded to an outstanding personality. Excellent condition. I RR!
