Sash Badge, 92 x 51.5 mm., gilt Silver with green enameled cross, red enameled centre with golden cyrillic inscription within a white enameled outer circlet with the Order`s motto in golden lettering and laurel branches tied by a stylized bow, white enameled reverse medallion with the date of creation of the Bulgarian Principality in gold cyrillic lettering and gilt, grooved outer circlet, typical, trefoil upper loop, Bulgarian crown suspension with polychrome-enameled "jewels" and red enameled inner cap, movable suspension ring, struck with a "SILBER", with the original, red sash with black side-stripes. Breast Star, 89 mm., with smooth frosted silver rays with polished highlights, gilt-silver centre medallion with gilt lion on translucent, red enamel, within a fine, diamond-cut ring, green enameled outer circlet with the cyrillic order`s motto in gold lettering and laurel branches tied by a stylized bow, the whole, within a larger, gilt diamond-cut ring, smooth, polished reverse, with broad centre disc, vertical pin, struck with a "SILBER" mark, the whole, in the original case of issue, the lid with gold embossed royal cipher of king Boris III and indication of the class. A rare and beautifully made set of German manufacture, extremely fine quality and mint state. I R!
