1st Class Set for Military in Time of War. Sash Badge, 93 x 50 mm., gilt Silver with green enameled cross, red enameled centre with golden cyrillic inscription within a white enameled outer circlet with the Order`s motto in golden lettering and laurel branches tied by a stylized bow, white enameled reverse medallion with the date of creation of the Bulgarian Principality in gold cyrillic lettering and gilt, grooved outer circlet, typical, trefoil upper loop, Bulgarian crown suspension with polychrome-enameled "jewels" and red enameled inner cap, movable ring, grooved and pearled suspension ring, with the original, red sash with black side-stripes. Breast Star, 82 mm., with smooth Silver rays with polished highlights, gilt-silver centre medallion with gilt lion on translucent, red enamel, within a fine, diamond-cut ring, green enameled outer circlet with the cyrillic order`s motto in gold lettering and laurel branches tied by a stylized bow, the whole, within a larger, gilt diamondcut ring, smooth, polished reverse, with broad centre disc, this, struck with old Austrian marks and the "F.R" mark within a lozenge, of Rothe & Neffe, Vienna, vertical pin, struck with two "A" mark and "CF. ROTHE" - "WIEN", the whole, in dark red case of issue, the lid with gold embossed royal cipher and indication of the class. A very rare and beautifully made set in the best Austrian quality. I-/I RR!
