Rio de la Plata. Provincial 8 Reales 1836 RA-P, Rioja mint, KM20, Janson-37, MS64 PCGS. Silver-gray patina over fully lustrous surfaces. The strike is bold for the issue, with a full, sharp sunface, and the only notable imperfection is a small flan flaw on the forehead of the sunface. A conditionally very rare issue, and none have been certified finer by either PCGS, or NGC.
