(leopard mm) hЄNRICVS : DЄI : GRA : FRACORV : Ƶ : AGLIЄ : RЄX, the Archangel Gabriel standing behind the arms of France facing the Virgin Mary standing behind the quartered arms of France and England, handing her a scroll bearing AVЄ beneath the light of God / (leopard mm) XPC' * VINCIT * XPC' * RЄGNAT * XPC' * IMPЄRAT, Latin cross above "h" within tressure of arches, a lis and leopard to either side. Sharply struck and very lustrous, a couple of scrapes and the ghost of a crease mar the surfaces of an otherwise choice example of this issue. An excellent representative example for the type collector of hammered gold.
