French Colonial silver Essai Piastre 19-- (1931), Lec-276, Specimen 63 PCGS. A rare essai and certainly desirable as a curiosity of the colonial Piastre series with the familiar seated Liberty on the obverse with the addition of "ESSAI" to the right of the abbreviated date and above the denomination on the reverse. A once cleaned example that has since retoned in deep multicolored shades.
