THRACIAN KINGDOM. Lysimachus (323-281 BC). AR tetradrachm (28mm, 17.10 gm, 9h). Pergamum(?). Diademed head of deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΛΥΣΙΜΑΧΟΥ, Athena seated left, holding Nike on extended right hand, resting left arm on grounded shield decorated with gorgoneion, transverse spear in background, AP in tiny letters in exergue. Perhaps unpublished. With an outstanding portrait of Alexander, struck in high relief. Lightly toned. Choice Extremely Fine. Ex Robert O. Ebert Collection (Gemini V, 6 January 2009), lot 552.
