CORINTHIA. Corinth. Ca. 350-306 BC. AR stater (22mm, 7.96 gm, 11h). Pegasus flying left, koppa - H P monogram and Σ below / Head of Athena left wearing wreathed Corinthian helmet pushed back on head, Δ before, ivy leaf behind. Cf. Calciati Pegasi 434 and Ravel 1016 (both with koppa only). Deeply struck. Nearly Extremely Fine. The presence of a monogram and an extra letter (Σ) along with the koppa below Pegasus on the obverse is unusual and apparently unrecorded.
