M COMMODVS ANTONINVS AVG, laureate head of Commodus right / TR P VII IMP IIII COS III P P, Annona standing left, holding statuette and cornucopia, modius containing corn-ears to left, stern of ship behind, decorated with figure of Victory and containing two figures, SC in exergue. RIC 325a. Choice natural dark green patina with areas of reddish cuprite lightly smoothed. Well-struck, with needle-sharp detail, particularly on reverse. Good Extremely Fine.
