Great Britain
Edward III (1327-77) gold Quarter Noble ND, S-1511, North-1244, Treaty Period of 1361-69, London mint, annulet before EDWARD, MS64 NGC, fully lustrous, truly Mint State and beautiful, some very slight doubling of strike, lovely flan, wonderful legends, bold Cross obv. mm. and bold central Lis on reverse, exceptionally choice surfaces. The reverse legends on quarter-nobles are notoriously difficult to read, but not on this coin: every letter of EXALTABITUR IN GLORIA is sharp -- "He shall be exalted in glory" (Psalm 112:9). This splendid coin gleams with 14th-century luster!
