Edward III (1327-77) gold Half Noble ND, S-1485, North-1140 (rare), Pre-Treaty Series of 1351-61, French title, annulet stops, closed "E" with inner pellet at center of reverse, MS64 NGC, generally sharp in detail but slightly short of flan, obverse showing slight doubling, reverse bold and clear, lustrous with choice surfaces and rich golden red toning. Rarely seen above VF (SCBC value of £4,250), and this coin is Mint State.
