Edward III (1327-77) gold Noble ND, S-1490, N-1181 (scarce), 4th Coinage, Pre-Treaty Series of 1351-61, French title (Series G, struck 1356-61), tiny annulet at end of royal cross on reverse, London mint, MS63 NGC, exceptionally choice, lustrous and boldly struck except for the king's tiny face and some of the large outer ornaments of the reverse shield, legends and center of the floriated cross unusually bold, reverse struck ever so slightly off center. All in all, a wonderful Noble!
