Charles I (1625-49) gold Unite ND, of 20 Shillings, S-2692 (2693A), North-2153, Schneider-160, Tower mint under the King, 4th Bust, crowned "CR" on reverse, Portcullis mm (1633-34), MS63 NGC, choice and absolutely Mint State, gleaming with luster, struck on a full broad flan with almost perfect centering, the king's portrait bold and frosty with luster, his lovelock crisp upon his shoulder, with an incredibly even and bold strike on his name and titles, on the "XX" denomination in the field, and even on the initial mark, while the reverse is nearly as fine, the surfaces choice, the luster unbroken, and the strike showing only small areas of softness. The classic reverse legend is about as bold as we have seen on any coin of Charles I. Rare so fine.
