Anne gold 5 Guineas 1706, S-3566, Post Union reverse, Quinto edge, AU58 NGC, an alluring, high-quality "fiver" showing only light wear and possessing glinting luster, the two sides perfectly centered with high rims, the strike especially bold on each side with a wonderful portrait, the shield absolutely crisp, choice surfaces and lovely reddish gold toning. Only one style of portrait was used for all 5-guineas of this reign. Two types of reverses were used based on the arrangement of the royal shields. This is one of the best 5-guineas of Queen Anne we have seen.
