Great Britain
George II gold Guinea 1732-E.I.C., S-3673, 2nd Young laureate Head, MS64 NGC, an exceptionally choice and fully Mint State coin, gleaming with luster, sharply struck with a pleasing portrait and every tiny detail in evidence on the crowned royal shield, centered on each side with the reverse having deeply dished rims. A great example of the standard gold coin of the era, hallmarked under the king's bust with the initials of the East India Company, as having supplied the gold bullion used in the manufacture of this and related coins. The prancing stallion, part of the Hanover crest, is larger and more prominent than on the gold of George I; on this guinea, bold and lustrous too. Ex Millennia and Jacob Y. Terner Collections.

Estimate: 12500-15000 USD
