George IV gold Half Sovereign 1821, S-3802, KM681, Laureate Head, 1-year type with Ornately Garnished Crowned Shield on reverse, MS64 NGC, some light abrasions on the obverse but deeply struck with intense luster, the reverse superb and having silky smooth somewhat reflective luster, the entire coin sheathed in gorgeous reddish gold toning. One of the best examples extant of this, the rarest design type of Half Sovereign. Very rare in this condition.
