Great Britain
Victoria gold Sovereign 1850, S-3852C, KM736.1, 2nd Young Head, no die number, Roman I in date, MS62 NGC, bold strike, light obverse abrasions but close to choice with a wonderfully satiny reverse. An exceptionally fine example of this variety; in fact, we cannot locate another as fine in any recent auctions. The 2013 SCBC prices this at £1,250 in VF but gives no values for a higher grade.
Estimate: 2500-3500 USD
