Anne Crown 1713, S-3603, ESC-109, Post Union issue, 3rd Bust, Roses & Plumes reverse, MS62 NGC, lustrous and in fact one of the few crowns of this reign ever seen by the cataloguer having lustrous surfaces; some slight disturbance to the luster on the high points but clearly this is an Uncirculated piece graced by a bold strike of the deeply engraved obverse die, showing the queen's hair in real detail, while the reverse shield also enjoys real clarity of design elements. The toning is a reddish orange-gold over a rich gray base color. Only light tin flecks are seen on the surfaces. Exceptionally choice, and rare thus.
Estimate: 4000-5000 USD
